Cliffs downstream from Blanchtown

A Trip Down the Murray to Lake Alexandrina on board the PS Dromedary.

The trip was once again with good mate and famous Aussie adventurer Rex Ellis on his charming paddle boat the PS Dromedary. This time we travelled down an old faithful friend Mooroondie (Murray River) to Lake Alexandrina. A great source of inspiration.

Warburton River enters Lake Eyre

An adventure down the Warburton River to Lake Eyre and back.

A rare and strange odyssey to a timeless place with fifteen other travellers in four tinnies and a zodiac. I think of it now and wonder was it really a dream. This experience is going to translate into a sensational exhibition.

Hairy Nose Itchy Butt the book

Hairy Nose Itchy Butt the book was launched at the Santos Conservation Centre at the Adelaide Zoo 24th March with a local function at Banrock Station the following day.
Hairy Nose Itchy Butt was a collaboration between Garry and good friend Liz Frankel right from the start. Liz's quirky narrative and Garry's depiction of the Hairy Nosed Wombat and his environment tell a tale of repeated loss of habitat for so many of our South Australian critters.
Described by Garry as 'a kids' book for adults',
this story has a real environmental message, but is also a lot of fun, with its infectious rhyme and rhythm, and a critter to look for on every page.
Ever had an itch you couldn't scratch? Hairy Nosed wombat has one, and somebody has chopped down his scratching tree. Join our marsupial hero on an itchity, scratchity adventure as he tries to find the perfect place to scratch his butt.
